1-bedroom RV with hookups, NYC bus 2 blocks away Welcome to this 1-bedroom camper/RV that is parked behind a house in a suburban area of Northern New Jersey. Perfectly comfortable for up to 2 people. The RV is plugged in and there is good WiFi. Bus to Manhattan NYC is only 2 blocks away. ALDI supermarket and laundry within walking distance. You can park your car on the street for free. Street parking is easy to find. I look forward to hosting you! This is a motorhome and is very similar to a small apartment. You will have private access to the entire unit.I am available before and during your stay to answer questions. I prefer to communicate via the Airbnb platform and request that all communications are there. Thank you.Two blocks away there is NJ Transit Bus No. 115 that takes you to Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City (Midtown Manhattan). The ride takes about 40 minutes and costs $7 per person. You can also drive easily around this area and there is plenty of parking. EWR airport is only about 20 minutes away. Walking/jogging in the neighborhood is also very easy. This RV can be rented during the winter and you are able to stay in it comfortably. There is heat and hot water, so you can stay warm and comfortable during colder months.I have a lock box at the location with a key to the RV front door. I will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival.I also just want to make clear that you are renting an Airbnb and not a hotel room. There are many differences between Airbnb and hotels, and some newer guests on Airbnb may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. On the other hand, I am an individual host and manage my listings to the best of my ability. I try hard to create a good experience for my guests. I am including this disclaimer here because I have recently seen a rise in guests that seem to view Airbnb as very similar to a hotel, but in reality it is quite different. Thank you in advance for understanding this. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with me. I may not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night. The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. Finally, I have a yacht parked not too far from this location. If you are coming to the New York area for tourism and you would like a private boat tour of New York Harbor, I would be happy to arrange it. The views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, etc. are amazing out on the water. Please contact me for more details if you are interested in a tour. Thank you.Welcome to my RV! Staying in an RV is a bit different from staying in a house. It can be exiting but requires a bit more attention. Please read these instructions to have the best experience possible. There’s a flashlight in the dashboard shelf that you can use if you need it. There are also some battery powered small night lights around the coach that you can turn on by gently pressing them.If you have a car, please park it on the street. Street parking is free and easy to find. You cannot block the driveway as there are other people living in the house. Thanks. You may plug in phones and laptops — these items are fine, but do not bring any appliances or other devices to this Airbnb and try to use them, such as juicers, blenders, hair curlers, etc. Other appliances and devices may cause the electrical system to malfunction. To use water, you need to turn on the “pump” button on the black console panel above the passenger windshield. To use hot water, you need to have that “pump” button on and also the “heater” button.IMPORTANT: turn off the “pump” and “heater” buttons when you are not using water.Use water sparklingly so you don’t run out. You have a 100-gallon tank of fresh water. It is not an endless supply. Take short showers. Don’t leave the faucets on, etc. The water tank should be enough for a stay of 3 days or shorter. I will not be able to refill your water during a stay of 3 or less days. If you stay longer than 3 days, I will fill your water tank approximately every 3 days so you always have enough. There are 2 thermostats and you can adjust the heater, which runs on propane. Turn the switches on the thermostats to heat and adjust the temperature. When you leave the RV, please turn thermostats down to between 50 and 60 to preserve propane. I will refill your propane tank every 3-4 days. The thermostats also control the air conditioning if the weather is warm. You can use the AC when needed. The large refrigerator in the kitchen area does not work. Use the mini-fridge toward the front seats. Thank you. There are clean towels in the closet as well as some pillows and a blanket for the sofa bed.The stove runs on propane. You need to hold in the burner knob while clicking the spark knob to light the flames. You may need to click it several times before it lights. If the starter knob is not working, use the lighter stick I provide to light the stove burners. There are some cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink and bathroom sink that you can use during your stay. The washer/dryer does not work unless you are hooked up at a campsite. Please do not use it.Please do not throw toilet paper or anything in the toilet. It will clog the system.Your sewer tanks are located below the RV. For stays longer than 3 days, I will need to “dump” the tanks. If you are staying less than 3 days, your tanks should not fill up. But, keep in mind, constant bathroom and shower usage will cause the tanks to fill quickly. Please plan accordingly. I will not be able to dump the tanks for stays of 3 days or less. Thanks. Please discard trash at a nearby trash bin in the driveway. Keeping the RV clean is very important. Please wash all dishes that you use, remove food that you've brought in, and discard all trash. My cleaning fee is lower than most Airbnbs and it covers basic cleaning like washing of linens and towels, vacuuming, etc. The cleaning fee does not cover deep cleaning, excessive kitchen and bathroom cleaning, etc. Thanks for your cooperation! If you check out late, there will be a $100 per hour fee for each hour or fraction of an hour that you stay beyond the check out time.If you smoke, use incense, use drugs of any kind (including marijuana and cannabis) anywhere on the property including outside areas and common areas, I will charge a $300 fee. If there are damages related to smoking or drug use, I will charge fees in addition to this $300.Thank you and enjoy your stay!
