Carefree Creek is a true Northwoods experience.The sandy frontage at Carefree Creek Cottage is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for swimming for the kids and the lakeside fire pit is a great place to gather at the end of a fun-filled day. There are 2 piers for docking your boats and for fishing off of. Little St. Germain Lake is a 986-acre lake with a maximum depth of 53 ft. It's known as a very good fishing lake and has good numbers of panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and musky.
