Activities:In the summer, the sandy shoreline is perfect for wading in the water with the kiddos with a gently sloping lakeside yard that is ideal for convenient lake access. Within a 1-hour radius, our area is abundant with hiking trails, mountain biking trails, waterfalls, and many other places to explore. Bike the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail, a 50+ mile paved bike trail that's known for its bridges and beauty. In the fall, walk the cranberry marshes and experience harvest, which is referred to as "the world's most beautiful harvest” or take a drive to entire the colorful foliage. Located on Alder Lake, part of the Manitowish Chain of 10 Lakes, in northern Wisconsin. All 10 lakes on the Manitowish Chain are navigable from May through September.
