The cabin is conveniently located off state highway 131, with Elk Creek- a Class-A trout stream- just minutes away. Mowed trails alongside the creek offer easy access for fishing or a relaxing nature walk. The River View Retreat boasts a near-hemispheric view of the river, valley and hills that make the Driftless so unique, including a dramatic 180-degree bend in the river. Take a walk on the maintained grass trails on property, or for the more adventurous head up the hillside to walk one of the many deer trails carved out over years. Relax and dine in the screened-in rear porch while enjoying the magnificent views and bird watching. Other amenities include a covered front porch, a stocked fire pit in the backyard, a gas grill and satellite TV. Large skylights in each bedroom impress with breathtaking views of the sky above and the river below.
