Surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys of Southwest Wisconsin, you will find it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors surrounding our place.We are located in town, a block off of Highway-14 in Coon Valley, Wi. This is an apartment style home with a outdoorsy, hunting & fishing, cottage interior. Up The Creek Cottage is a favorite for trout fishermen and hunters, but is also great for a couples get away.Inside our place, you will find 2 bedrooms with 1 twin bed and 1 double bed. We also have a recliner and 2 cots for extra sleeping space.We are the owners of The Stockyard Grill & Saloon! Our bar and grill is just steps away! We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Guests that choose Up The Creek Cottage have their own private walk out featuring a patio table and chairs.The back half of the building is shared with our catering company. Don’t worry, our doors will be locked and we will not enter your part of the building at any time during your stay.Our place is 20 minutes from La Crosse, Wi, but there are many things to do close by:- Take a hike at Norskedahlen Nature and Heritage Center.- Go fishing on the Coon Creek (just across the street)- Stroll the Coon Valley Veterans Memorial Park (just across the street)! - Eat at one of the delicious restaurants in town. - Shop local at one of our stores in town, just steps from our place: Donna’s Daughters, Chances Are, Valley Market, Coon Valley Dairy Supply, Central Park Gallery, Sweet Valley Artisans or Seland’s Karpetland!
