The Ellwood is named after an influential designer based out of LA in the 70’s who was known for his minimal steel and glass (couldn’t be more box hop) designs, Craig Ellwood. The Hocking Hills is an area of the Allegheny Plateau in Appalachian Ohio, primarily in Hocking County, that features cliffs, gorges, rock shelters, and waterfalls. The relatively extreme topography in this area is due to the Blackhand Sandstone (so named because of Native American graphics on the formation near Newark, Ohio), a particular formation that is thick, hard and weather-resistant, and so forms high cliffs and narrow, deep gorges.The home can be accessed with a key in a lockbox next to the door.2 bedrooms - both queens1 full bathIndoor + Outdoor FireplacesDeck + Hot tubA GLASS FLOORThe driveway is a long gravel driveway. With any inclement weather, we recommend an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. If the reservation is canceled after that, the guest is entitled to a 50% refund if canceled 24 hours prior to the beginning of the reservation.
