All In the Midst of Brush Creek Forest So Peaceful, You might Not Even See Another Person Just Deer and Turkey! Just 1 hour from Jungle Jim's Eastgate Straight Out St. Rt. 32. Such an Easy Drive, Leave Cincy in the rear view! And Come to the Forest A quick walk from The Red Barn and you enter into the forest It is flat for 1 mile, and you rarely see anyone. But be quiet deer and wild turkeys are everywhere here!... Numerous Hiking Trails: Get Outside and DO SOMETHING! Adams County Ohio is Beautiful!Quick Hikes within a mile of the home, we have Shoemaker Nature Preserve. Five miles from our home is Chalet Nivale, Shaded hollows, vertical cliffs, rare plants, carved out by two of Ohio's cleanest streams. Both are easier excellent hikes. Fort Hill is a hike through a mature forest to the top of the ridge where a 2000 yr old mystery of the Hopewell culture awaits. Hike more intense Buzzard's Roost, or check out the Arc of Appalachia's site for more challenging hikes. Or simply stay at the cozy cabin; you're likely to see deer and wild turkeys! Come out and Relax!!!
