Rustic Cabin on Cacapon River for Private Getaway Rustic, 100 year old, one room, primitive cabin in West Virginia along the Cacapon River. Beautifully restored with wood stove, loft, & large screened in porch. Access to 214 acres of private mountain land & over 1/4 mile of river frontage plus 1/2 acre pond, trails, and private shooting range. This cabin is completely off grid. It has NO electricity or plumbing/running water, but does have a Porta-John serviced weekly. Cabin has a bunkbed (no mattress or linens...bring your own bed rolls), two cots, folding chairs, and some deck furniture provided for use. Renter will be essentially camping in a rustic cabin so pack accordingly. To access property, we recommend all renters have a four wheel drive vehicle. Please note that during inclement weather parts of property may become inaccessible due to deep snow or high water. Upon booking, detailed driving directions and cabin manual will be emailed to renter. Please email for details and reservations.
