A Very Eclectic Décor Galore Cozy Home Near Orchards, Wineries, and Mountains Located in the beautiful Fruitvale area of Grand Junction, Colorado, this delightful 1700' + SF home with either two bedrooms with an office or three bedrooms without office, two bath with a two car garage is located approximately 35 minutes from the Colorado National Monument and 45 minutes from Powderhorn Ski Area. Our property is located on the Northeastern side of Grand Junction and comfortably sleeps six adults. This beautiful rancher features a big (82") screen television with access to over 60 television channels, a fully furnished full size kitchen, a laundry room, and sitting bar. Internet and cable service is also provided. There is a nice patio that features a gas grill and outdoor sitting area with views of Mount Garfield and the Bookcliffs.We have everything onsite we can think of to make your stay comfortable. Just bring your suitcase, toothbrush and groceries.ABOUT THE AREAWestern Colorado offers some of the finest in mountain and road biking, alpine and cross-country snow skiing, fishing, hiking and hunting that you will find anywhere. And you can do it all in fine order from here! The property is within a few miles of renowned Palisade and twenty plus wineries. The Colorado National Monument is located on the south side of the valley offering spectacular views and panoramas.If you play golf, you're only minutes away from any one of five golf courses including Redlands Mesa, Tiara Rado, Adobe Creek, Lincoln Park and Chipeta. Grand Junction is home to JUCO World Series Baseball, the Grand Junction Rockies Pioneer League Baseball Team, Country Jam USA, Local Jam and Colorado Mesa University (home of the CMU Mavericks). Founded in 1851, Grand Junction is situated at the junction of the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. The Fruitvale area was one of the largest agricultural areas in the valley with offerings of apples, peaches and pears. Our property is located just north of the Historical Cross Orchards Living History Museum.In addition to the natural beauty of the valley, the Grand Valley is host to approximately 23 wineries and several craft breweries as well.The Grand Valley is home to several biking events including the Fat Tire Festival in Fruita; 18 Hours of Fruita Bike Race at Highline Lake; and the Tabeguache Biking Festival. Also hosted in the valley is Winefest and the Lavendar Festival in Palisade.River rafting and kayaking is also available through Adventure Bound USA.Horseback riding is available through Rimrock Adventures.
