It's the perfect spot for beach-going families and close groups of friends, with Harbert Road Beach (just over a mile, free limited parking) and Cherry Beach (less than two miles, free permit parking or a great bike ride) both close by. Walk to the fantastic bakery around the corner and a number of local restaurants, or hop in the car for a quick drive to Warren Dunes State Park (four miles), Union Pier (five miles), New Buffalo (eight miles), or local wineries and breweries.The luxury touches begin in the home's beautiful outdoor spaces, including a pool terrace that's fenced for safety and illuminated by bistro lighting. (The pool's normal temperature is 80 degrees; it can be raised to 85 for a daily fee.) Watch your children play in the tree-lined yard and sandbox, flip burgers and steaks on the gas grill, and dine alfresco at golden hour before gathering around the firepit. The single-story interior is an open, elegant space full of high-end finishes and large, breezy rooms. A contemporary, minimalist aesthetic runs throughout the house, creating a serene space where you can relax, cook, and dine with loved ones. Prepare your favorite meals in a sleek kitchen with stainless steel appliances and beautiful countertops and backsplash, and sit down to enjoy them at the spacious island, at the window-lined breakfast table, or in the formal dining room. In the evenings, retreat to the home office to log onto the high-speed WiFi, stream your favorite movies on the smart TV in the living room, and leave the day's swimsuits in the care of the brand-new (2023) washer/dryer. Of the four bedrooms, two are primary suites with en suites. One of them features a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower while the other includes a large walk-in shower, giving all your guests wonderful sleeping options and the privacy they desire.THINGS TO KNOWOnly the main floor of the home is available to rent. The upper level, garage, and basement are unoccupied, but they are not available to guests.Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials.The fireplace is not for guest use.The pool is 16’x38’ and 5’10” on the deep end. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan, LLC.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.Security camera details: There is a Ring doorbell camera at the front door and a camera over the garage trained upon the driveway only.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
