If you like bird watching or looking for adventure on the river, you have found your own private retreat. With the French Broad River in the back yard not only will you enjoy the the views from the deck but you can take advantage of the river access where you can put in or take out your kayak or go tubing for free right here on our property.We are the last house on a very private street in South Asheville 5 minutes from Asheville Airport and 5 minutes to shopping. 7 minutes to Sierra Nevada Brewing and 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. We have a lovely fire pit to gather around in the evenings, a hot tub for soaking after a hike or a day on the river, a billiards table and theater room for social hours, a secret room hidden behind a bookcase door, a loft with sleeping for 4, 5 spacious private bedrooms-3 feature large private bathrooms, and acres of land to explore. You will love this home if you are looking for a place to get away from it all.We offer a fully equipped kitchen with tableware for 16, a 6 burner gas stove, double oven and kitchen aid appliances. There are 15 beds total and all linens are provided. (3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 6 twin beds, 1 queen futon, 1 queen sleep sofa, and 2 double sleep sofas.) The house has a sunken living room and staircases to the loft and basement with child safety gates, however, the sunken living room does not have a safety gate. Please be aware of this feature if your group includes any guests that would have difficulty with this. This is our second listing on VRBO so read reviews on our other property #4298855 and you will see that not only have we been providing our guests with awesome vacations for over 9 years, we have tried to fill the house with everything you will need to be comfortable while you stay with us and enjoy your time together. We have two large homes set up for 16 guests, so if you are here for a wedding and need a grooms house and a brides house let us know!
