The cabin has stood through 200 years of change but maintains the charm of simpler times. The modern conveniences of indoor plumbing and full electric service including base-board heat, refrigeration and cookware have been added. There is an air-conditioner in the loft. Tables and chairs are located in the kitchen and on the porch to enjoy your meals.The more adventurous guests can open the windows to enjoy a cross-breeze, read by candle light, cook over the campfire (or charcoal grill) and dine on the large outdoor picnic table. Just bring your favorite food and beverages.This natural setting is home to a large variety of wildlife. Our guests have seen deer, turkey, pheasant, song birds, birds of prey, fox, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, possum, and more while rocking on the wraparound porch and hiking through the trails on the property. There are bicycles for use on the grass trails, open fields or quiet dirt roads. In addition to bicycles, there are lawn jarts, frisbees, darts, squirt guns and more available for your use on the huge lawn. Firewood, skewers and pie-makers are provided for your bon fire. We also provide a fiber-optic Internet connection, smart television, DVD collection, multiple board games, puzzles, and a few books in case there is inclement weather during your stay.The White Pine multi-use trail is only 2 miles away. For the hardcore mountain bikers, the Dragon Tail Trail is 7 miles away. You can visit the many local Amish farms & businesses and nearby popular attractions in the Canadian Lakes area. Due to the secluded nature of this property, there are surveillance cameras monitoring the driveway and door to the cabin. There are also hunting cameras that monitor the food plot fields and utility easement.We hope you'll come and relax a while. We are confident you will be so glad you visited.
