Beautiful coastal Maine farmhouse on the Boothbay Peninsula Situated in the midst of the "Napa Valley of Oysters", the home is just a couple of minutes from Glidden Point Oysters and Barbary Scully Oysters and Lobster Store. From the quaint twin-villages of Newcastle and Damariscotta to the amazing town of Boothbay Harbor, you will be close to all the area has to offer. Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the Maine State Aquarium, Boothbay Railway Village, beaches, hiking in the many area preserves, shopping, excellent restaurants- all within 10 minutes!Completely renovated, with 6 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, everyone will enjoy all the comforts and amenities this home has to offer. With 2 living areas, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Maine vacation at best!Enjoy beach combing at Ocean Point, or shopping at the amazing small shops in the area. A hike through the many preserves (15 just on the peninsula!) as close as 5 minutes away- Dodge Point and Porter Preserve are favorites! The Schmid Preserve, with the sought after River Links Trail, is only a few minutes away. End the day with a meal cooked on the grill while relaxing on the back deck overlooking the 3 acres of lawn and woods. Plenty of lawn for a quick football or soccer game, a wooden swing for hanging about, or relax with a book on the front porch swing. Enjoy star gazing while roasting smores in the firepit and relaxing in the adirondack chairs surrounding the fire.The kitchen is a chef's delight with a large island for preparation and serving and a 5 burner gas range for putting together a truly gourmet meal. 2 ovens, including one convection oven, help to make meal preparation quick and easy. 2 refrigerators provide ample storage for as many lobsters as you would like to eat! Baking is enjoyable with a Kitchenaid stand mixer, food processor, and blender all at your fingertips. Enjoy your dinner at the large farm table in the kitchen or at the 2 picnic tables on the back deck and in the back yard.Fresh, clean beautiful linens welcome you when you lay your head down after a full day for a sweet, relaxing sleep.
