Escape to the Extraordinary in NM! This beautiful abode is set in an old juniper and piñon pine forest. It's really quite magical, and you don't see this type of forest with such tall trees normally. This was home to Native Americans for many years, and you can still feel their spirits. I created this place for you to connect with the land and connect with your heart. A high-end rural retreat yet still near the hotspots. Relax and unwind in nature, go out on adventure, or enjoy music and art in Taos. Stay as long as you can!The spaceThis compound is enchanting. The primary dwelling, which we call "The Q" is a 1300 sf adobe house with a full bath and kitchen. This house sleeps 4-7. It has an open floor plan with a sleeping alcove. (There are no actual bedrooms.) Not far away is the Stick Casita. (Casita means "little house"). It has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a twin bed in the living room. There is also a full bathroom and kitchenette in this casita. (Please note there will need to be at least 4 people in your group in order to access the Stick Casita.) Behind the trees between the Stick and the Q are 2 camper trailers- no bath or kitchen but great for being outside but in a bed. Nearby are 2 tents- be sure to bring your own sleeping gear! WiFi is at the Q. There is also a flatscreen TV & DVD player, (no cable/satellite), a great stereo system, and lots of good books to read and games and puzzles. Additionally, we can recommend an incredible cook, as well as other services such as massage, music, and yoga on site.Guest accessYou'll have access to the The Q House as well as the walking trails if your group is small. For larger groups, or for an additional fee, the Stick Casita and the campers and tents would be available as well.Other things to noteWhether or not you want local art, active adventure, indigenous culture, or a relaxing soak, every evening you will find yourself in the peaceful quietude of the surrounding forest and its natural inhabitants. This is an excellent getaway for couples, small families, close friends, or harried individuals in search of peace.
