Stunning Space, Panoramic Bay Views, and a Private Beach! "The Loft" is a peaceful, non- smoking retreat situated at the end of a private lane in Belfast, Maine on the ocean’s edge of Penobscot Bay. Renovated and designer- decorated, the space is replete with simple luxury, functionality, and an aesthetic beauty that delights the visual palate. It is an impeccable space for a sojourn for up to four adults and two children. So sorry but no pets are permitted. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lawns, perennial garden beds, stone patios, and decks overlooking the bay. A waterfront stairway provides direct access to the private 150’ beach, available exclusively to guests, ideal for sitting, kayaking and swimming in season. " The Loft" building is situated behind the main house; it has three bedrooms, a dramatic, contemporary open-floor plan with an oversized kitchen island, an enormous spa bathroom, an additional half bath. The kitchen /living area has expansive water views. The contemporary living room area has decorator teal couches, ample seating, and a large screen TV. The two upstairs bedrooms include an elegant queen bedroom with views toward the water, a half bath and a two-twin bed room. Across the living room is the spacious spa bathroom with a cathedral ceiling, an oversized multifunction rain shower and a soaking tub. Adjacent is the dedicated laundry room with a state-of-the-art washer/dryer. Downstairs, on the entry level is the King bedroom suite decorated in warm sepia wood tones. It has ample room for the recliner, the walk- in closet with vanity, and a writing desk. It sports its own ensuite shower bathroom and a separate entry to the outdoors on the ground level. When you do decide to venture from your waterfront retreat, less than a mile away you can enjoy Belfast’s restaurants and art galleries as well as its working waterfront, walking paths and trails, expansive municipal parks, and the abundance of farmers’ markets. Ideally located in Mid Coast, The Loft is an extraordinary home base for your day trips north toward Acadia National Park and myriad other accessible Maine attractions.
