You can walk directly across the street to be whisked away to the ski lift. Total time to chair lift: 5-10 minutes! No need to drive and no need to pay for parking!You will need a car to ski anywhere besides Beaver Creek (Vail, Copper, Breckinridge, Keystone, A-Basin). There is a bus that will take you to Vail for only $4 each way. We do also recommend a car for grocery shopping, etc.We are only 1 mile away from Avon's city center, including the famous Westin Hotel. We are roughly a 10 minute walk to Nottingham Park, where you can swim and stand up paddle board all summer long.
