Conveniently located close to the village of Eastsound, where you will find unique shops and an array of dining options. This well-appointed home features a chef's kitchen, two sunlit decks, a hot tub, a deep soaking tub, a fireplace, two king-sized beds, and a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom. Centrally located, you are one mile from Crescent Beach, kayaking, and paddle boarding, and a few miles to Moran State Park where two lakes offer hiking, swimming, picnicking, kayaking and rowing.Heart House is a two-story, craftsman-style home with a beautiful wrap-around, covered deck. You will have access to the entire house which includes the second story with two bedrooms, a full Jack-n-Jill bathroom, and a water-view balcony. The upstairs bedrooms have comfy king beds and reading areas in each. The bright, custom-tiled bathroom has a deep soaking tub, vanity, and plenty of towels and guest amenities.The main floor has a well-appointed kitchen with high-end appliances, cookware, fully stocked serve and tableware, and a spacious dining room for six. Enjoy evening family time in the comfortable living room which features a gas fireplace and games, or stream movies on the 60" Samsung Smart TV. With excellent, reliable WIFI with speeds up to 60mbps, you can stay connected making remote work easy from our home.The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, desk, and chair for remote work, and a full bathroom right in the hallway. The bathroom offers a custom-tiled shower, vanity, and excellent guest amenities and towels. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer off of the kitchen for doing personal laundry during your stay. It opens to the porch for pet-friendly entries and paw wiping!Enjoy watching birds and wildlife outdoors on the beautiful deck. There is outdoor dining with a large, gas BBQ, and seating for that morning coffee and a book. Walk around to the spa area to immerse yourself in the outdoor hot tub with views of the water and forest all around you. With complete privacy, your family can relax and make use of the spacious lawn below for games and fun with your dog. Though our property is not fenced, we are pet-friendly and there is lots of room for your dog to stretch and run.We invite you to stay in one of Orcas Island's premier vacation homes, Heart House!We allow one or two dogs at Heart House. We request that all guests please read our Pet Policy and agree to this before booking their reservation. There is a $75 Pet Fee that is automatically added on when you book your reservation. Heart House Pet PolicyWe welcome your pet to Heart House. While we support and open our home to pet owners, we also set a high standard for cleanliness and maintenance. We do our best to host our guests in a quality environment. While staying at Heart House, we ask that you observe some basic pet rules to help us keep our home clean and in good order. One or Two dog limit. Please do not ask to bring three or more dogs.Please declare your dog's breed and weight via messaging with our host. We reserve the right to refuse certain breeds and dogs that are over 60 lbs.Pets are expected to be well-behaved and socialized with strangersPets are not to be left unattended in or outside of the house. Our large yard is not fenced.Please bring your own crate.Owners are responsible for cleaning up their pet’s waste, including the yard. Please bring doggie bags.Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds, please bring your pet's bed and blankets.Pets are only allowed in the downstairs area of the house.
