With an open floor plan, your family can cook, dine and relax with outstanding views from any room. Island Mountain Lodge has all the amenities of a five-star, luxury stay including an outdoor sauna and hot tub, extensive decks and gardens, theater seating in the media room, and a billiard room. Evening sunsets and night sky can be enjoyed each night. We offer contactless check-ins with a quick text to let us know you've arrived safely! As your on-island host, I am available for support 8 am-5 pm daily, and 24/7 support for emergencies.Island Mountain Lodge is located close to Eastsound in a quiet, private neighborhood. With five acres of forest, you have complete privacy and peace to enjoy the home and gardens. We ask that you drive slow and respect the quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. Island Mountain Lodge is a custom home perfect for family gatherings of six and up to nine guests with our extra Studio. Whether it is multi-generational gatherings, two families, or a friends' getaway, our beautifully furnished home can comfortably accommodate everyone. The main home sleeps six guests with a master bedroom ensuite and two guest bedrooms upstairs. There are three beds in the main house.For larger groups or solo travelers, we have a separate Studio that accommodates additional guests with a newly remodeled, full bathroom and seating area. With wood floors, comfortable beds, and a custom-tiled shower and bathroom, it’s a great space for a second family or friends. The space is connected by decking to the main house and is never rented separately from the Main House. There is an additional guest use fee that is automatically added when you book or added upon special request for smaller groups with solo travelers. Please make sure to add the correct guest count or send a special request if you need the extra space. We will make sure to prepare the space for your use. Bedrooms:The master bedroom en-suite is located on the main level with a King Bed. It includes a gas fireplace and reading chair, two walk-in closets, and a luxurious bathroom. Upstairs there are two generous bedrooms with Queen beds in each, closets, and reading benches. We offer fine linens, towels, and quality furnishings in each bedroom for our guests.Bathrooms:The master bedroom offers a spa-inspired bathroom with a jetted shower and stand-alone jetted bathtub that will help you relax from your everyday cares. There are two sinks and plenty of space for bathing and grooming. Upstairs there is a newly remodeled, contemporary bathroom with digitally controlled features for a relaxing shower and amazing window views. The main level of the home has a guest bathroom for common use.Kitchen: Custom tile work accents a well-appointed kitchen. This beautiful, large kitchen with granite countertops offers a kitchen island with plenty of prep space and storage. Quality, stainless steel appliances include a six-burner Wolf gas range, a second wall oven, a microwave oven, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a dishwasher. We've rounded out this well-stocked kitchen with a Keurig, coffee maker, Nespresso, coffee grinder, and French press. With bakeware, cookware, and a plethora of kitchen gadgets and small appliances, we want to provide a great cooking experience!Dining: Right off of the kitchen is a large, wooden dining table with seating for 9 people. Stepping out the french doors to the deck, you'll find a large BBQ conveniently located just outside. Teak tables and chairs provide an extraordinary setting for outdoor dining for ten. With the incredible views and large decks, outdoor dining during the warmer months is a plus!Living Room:The living area is framed in beautiful, handcrafted woodwork and an impressive stone fireplace. Comfortable couches and chairs make the living area a cozy place to relax as you take in the magnificent views of Puget Sound. Media Room:Just off of the living area is the private theater and gaming room with seats for the whole family. The Smart TV offers all the fun and theater adventures your family could want. Pool Room Loft:Upstairs is a reading loft and a beautifully carved pool table with all the accouterments (including a few how-to books). After a fabulous meal, you can retire to the pool room for some fun and games. The Studio:Separate from the house and connected by an outdoor deck is a 500 sq ft. sleeping studio. With a comfortable Queen bed and two twin trundle beds, it can accommodate a family of four or a place for teenagers to have their own space. It has a beautiful, newly remodeled tiled shower and vanity with On-Demand Hot water so everyone can shower without concern. There is a Smart TV and seating area to relax and play games as well.Outdoors:Walk out under the stars to relax in your own private spa and hot tub. With an outdoor shower, a three-person Finnish sauna, and a six-person hot tub, Islandview becomes a luxurious, private spa retreat. Treat yourself at the end of each day by soaking in the hot waters and watching the stunning sunset sky over Eastsound. Relaxing outside on the deck is one of the finest features of this incredible home. With comfortable Adirondack chairs, chaise lounge chairs, and an outdoor gas fireplace, summer evenings can extend well into the starry night. A dry sauna and hot tub offer a special treat with the gas fire pit nearby. Garden pathways with private decks meander around the house and estate. Follow the footpath through the beautifully landscaped hillside to discover a private pond and teepee. Feed the koi fish and enjoy the beautifully painted teepee for some afternoon fun. The pond is not suited for swimming or for small children to play around, so please accompany children at all times. While Island Mountain Lodge offers all these amenities and adventure right at home, you're also just a half-mile to the tiny hamlet of Eastsound. With shopping, cafes, adventure rentals, and tours within a short distance of home, you can venture off for the day easily; or simply run to the store for that special ingredient.The hidden gem of Orcas Island, Moran State Park, is just a few miles away. With miles of trails accommodating hikers, mountain bikers, and horse-riding, and with the tower on the top of Mt Constitution and the three mountain ranges visible from that vista, Moran State Park on Orcas Island is one of the San Juan Islands’ greatest treasures.
