With a wide-open, studio-like floor plan, this home features a well-equipped kitchenette, a table for two, a cozy living area, and a desk and chair—perfect for your laptop. The lower level (accessible from the outside) holds a private washer/dryer so that you never have to drive to the local laundromat. Outdoors, this cabin includes a small deck and backyard area perfect for a hammock, grilling, or stargazing.Local beaches, a kayak launch, a public dock, and downtown are all just steps away. Eastsound is home to many local shops and restaurants, like the New Leaf Cafe with its seasonal French breakfasts as well as the Lower Tavern for excellent burgers and seafood. Eastsound is also home to the fun and fascinating Orcas Island Historical Museum and the Orcas W.I.L.D. Science and Discovery Center. The historic observation tower at Mt. Constitution is just 11 miles east and boasts 360-degree views of Canada and the San Juan islands. Mt. Constitution is also within Moran State Park, which offers many opportunities for hiking, biking, and water sports.THINGS TO KNOWStreaming services are available with guests' own account(s).The bathroom adjoining the bedroom is enclosed by barn doors only.The bathroom is high off the floor and may be difficult for some guests to enter.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.This rental is located on floor 2.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
