Large Modern 6 Bedroom Farmhouse with Custom Theater In Meridian Get ready to enjoy a wow factor, walking into this vaulted 3,000 square foot modern farmhouse family home with an open concept floor plan and five private bedrooms plus a bonus movie theater room to comfortably accommodate hosting large groups. You'll feel right at home with the cozy creams and soft gray colors and playful farmhouse touches throughout the common areas and bedrooms. With stair-less access to the main level, you'll walk through the front entrance to instantly view a catwalk right above a fantastic entertaining space with a natural light filled furnished living room with amenities of a fireplace and smart TV. Opening up to a functional kitchen filled with lovely white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and plenty of room for guests with the duo of seating for three at the kitchen island and seating for an additional six at the dining table. The kitchen is stocked with all essential dishes, cookware, utensils and beautiful touches of hardwood floors and an accent butchers block countertop. Directly behind the dining table is a sliding glass door that open up to a spacious and fully enclosed grass backyard with grown trees, a wooden play set with swings and a slide, a chalkboard wall for doodling, a BBQ and smoker available for guest use and a covered patio. On the main level you'll also find access to two bedrooms, one half bathroom and a combined mudroom with built in cubbies and a laundry room with a sink, washer and dryer for all laundering needs during your stay. The main level bedrooms include: A beautiful master bedroom furnished with a plush king sized mattress, shiplap accent wall, nightstands, lamps and a dresser with a smart TV. The master has it's own attached full bathroom with double vanities, an oversized tub and separate shower and private toilet room. One main level guest bedroom is at the entryway with double doors, a queen sized bed with built in storage drawers, bookshelves and a full length mirror. Going up two flights of stairs you'll step into an open room with a desk area, perfect for accommodating to remote working or learning. Beyond the workspace is a brand new custom made movie theater room with a projector, surround sound speakers, a pillow filled sectional and our favorite touch, a mini fridge stocked with refreshing drinks and shelving with jars of concessions treats and vintage film inspired décor pieces that set the tone for an ultimate movie night. The upstairs of the home holds three bedrooms, two full sized bathrooms and a theater room that can be used as an additional bedroom as follows: One guest bedroom with a queen sized bed, closet space and nightstands. One large children's guest bedroom with two twin sized beds, closet space and a selection of toys and books to entertain little travelers. A full sized bathroom with shower and tub and double vanities to be shared between the children's room and guest bedroom One guest bedroom suite with a king sized bed, closet space, nightstands, built in bookshelves, window seating and an attached full sized bathroom with shower and tub combo. One theater room where you can setup 2 queen sized air mattresses as well as sleeping people on the available couches. Additional bedding accommodations: 1 pack and play for infant/toddler and 2 queen sized air mattress with extra bedding in the linen closet. Note: The downstairs couches and theater couches can be used as additional sleeping space for those who are comfortable sleeping on couches that are not pull out beds. House Rules and Important Notices: Residential family home: It's important to note that this is a full time residential family home, rented on occasion throughout the year and located within a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your help in respecting the home and current relationships with neighbors. It's of heightened importance that this home does not host parties of any sort and keeps music and noise quiet after 10pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our occasional rental service within this family home. Parking: There is free parking available for use by guests and visiting company. You can use the parking within driveway, or additional parking on the street in front of the home as needed. The garage is locked off and occupied with storage at this time. Please abide by all local parking laws and avoid parking over any sidewalks as the city is known to cite for cars parked in a way that spills over from the driveway into blocking a sidewalk from normal use. Pet policy: With the homeowners having severe pet allergies within their family, this home strictly prohibits any pets from visiting or residing within it. Smoking/Substance Policy: Smoking, vaping or the use of any recreational drugs is strictly prohibited anywhere within or upon the premises – no exceptions. Reports of failure to comply with the smoking/drug policy, noise curfew cut off time of 10pm and pet policies will result in the loss of your security deposit and additional expenses may be charged to remove odors or repair any damages done to the property that hinder another same day check in. The home has a coded door lock so no interaction with the host is necessary. You can come and go as you please. As your hosts we are friendly people and are happy to interact and answer questions or requests should you need or want anything. We are available via the platforms message system or text at any time. We would love to host you while you're in town and are happy to meet plausible requests or modifications you might need for your visit. The Village: Just a short drive from the home you can access Meridian's popular Village where you'll find beautiful waterfalls and light pathways as you explore shopping, dining and the Village Cinema that has VIP21 movies with balcony seating and dinner served right to your seat to enjoy during the movie. The Village hosts all sorts of seasonal events, you can check their calendar for events happening during your stay. They'll host story times for children, seasonal ice skating and visits from Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, dressed up Disney characters and more. Cinnaholic is our personal favorite stop for within the Village that has gourmet and uniquely topped cinnamon rolls of endless varieties. You can thank us later! Food: While you're in this area we'd highly recommend that you check TripAdvisor for the top 10 recommendations on restaurants. Downtown Boise and the surrounding areas have some fabulous dining options, so to spill a few of our top favorites for high end dinners: Barbacoa or Ruth Chris' Steakhouses, Izumi Japanese Steak House, Coyne's Restaurant, the Fork, and Crave Kitchen & Bar. Some popular casual lunch spots are: Kona Grill, Calle 75 Street Tacos or Yoi Tomo's all you can eat sushi and for breakfast we'd recommend trying Rembrandt's in Eagle or Goldy's Famous Breakfast Bistro. Cinnaholic is our personal favorite stop for gourmet and uniquely topped cinnamon rolls of endless varieties in the Village. Children's Fun: The Children's Museum of Idaho, Aquarium of Boise, Jump Time, Urban Air, Woodland Kids, Jabbers play center in Nampa, and Big Al's Bowling and Arcade Games are amazing play centers for children to explore, learn, jump and play. Recreation: Discovery Park is a newly developed park in Meridian which spans 27 acres and includes a climbing wall modeled after Idaho topography, dual zip-lines, roller slides, a splash pad, reservable picnic tables and shelters, a large fenced off leash dog park, sand and water play areas and more. One Stop Fun: Roaring Springs is a decked out water park opened during summertime months with slides, rides, wave pools, swimming and attractions for every age. Right next door to the water park is Wahooz Family Entertainment center with laser tag, indoor ropes courses, virtual reality and arcade games, bumper cars, outdoor mini golf and bumper boats and so much more. Must See: Don't miss the well known "Freak Alley" in Downtown Boise where artists leave their mark with tasteful graffiti masterpieces in a dedicated outdoor showroom on historic buildings. Take a stroll through meaningful, funky and fun art as you explore what the downtown area has to offer. There are also seasonal Farmer's Markets held in the streets during spring and summer time months where you can bring homegrown, handmade and sentimental treasures from your visit to Idaho. In the last few years, the secret has gotten out about Meridian and what a gem of a place it is. We are convinced you'll fall in love with our area, as you explore and experience what Treasure Valley has to offer.
