Murray Cove Cottage On Beautiful Lake Burton private dock, kayaks, SUP, canoe Located just 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta, Lake Burton is the premier mountain lake destination. Located between Helen and Clayton, we are close to any North Georgia activity you might want to enjoy. For families that are interested in boating, there are two marinas that rent boats and there is a year round boat ramp just down the road. Swimming, fishing, hiking or laying on the lounge chairs make this the ideal place to rest and relax.The Cottage is newly renovated throughout with new appliances, furniture and beds. There are 2 queen size beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. Amenities include WiFi and Smart TV.Our swim dock and boat house are designed for optimal lake enjoyment. The top of the boat house has a dining table and two sofas, and an umbrella to allow sun protection. The swim dock below is also equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas. We have recently added two paddle boards for our guest’s enjoyment. Rental rates are as posted on VRBO. There are discounts for extended stays. During the summer months we require a week long rental with check in/check out on Sundays. Special rates and check ins apply to major holidays as well. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.Minimum Nights Stay varies based on the season from 2 nights in the off season to 7 nights with a Sunday check in/check out date in the summer (see the calendar for available dates). The weekly rental requirement during the summer helps cut down on the wear and tear so we hope you understand. Special holidays like Memorial Day ( 4 nights stay with a Thursday check in and Monday check out), Fourth of July ( weekly rental only) and Labor Day (4 nights stay with a Thursday check in and Monday Check out) have their own rules and rates. There are discounts for weekly and monthly rentals that apply.
