Only a half mile from the house, order a fried seafood plate and an ice cream cone at Kate’s Seafood restaurant or visit the Lemon Tree Village plaza, with its many shops and boutiques, where you’ll find handmade sweets and chocolate confections, kids’ toys, women’s clothing, handcrafted pottery and Cafe Alfresco, which serves a selection of breakfast dishes, specialty sandwiches, salads and, of course, a variety of caffeinated beverages—hot and cold. Other nearby attractions include the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and its walking trails, The Brewster General Store—a must for penny candy and souvenirs—and the Brewster Book Store, which is known for its collection of kids’ books and beach reads. On the first floor of the home there is the open-concept kitchen and living room, replete with a compact dining area; a den with a TV; a full bathroom with a walk-in shower; and the master bedroom with a queen bed.
