Relaxing 3B Cabin-15 min walk to the Black River! Black River Escape is the perfect secluded getaway to kick back, unwind, and enjoy nature. Located on several wooded acres about 2 hours from St. Louis, this spacious log home is smartly furnished with a rustic lodge feel and modern amenities. Sit next to the wood burning stove or settle in on the front porch to watch the hummingbirds. There’s plenty of space to spread out and entertain with this open spaced living room and kitchen floor plan, separate lounging area, seating for 10 in the dining room, 2 patio tables, gas grill and a Weber charcoal grill on the large back deck. For a perfect end of the day, mosey over to “Fireside.” Just a stone throw away, Fireside is an outdoor pavilion equipped with a large stone fireplace, lights, ceiling fans and surrounded by comfortable seating. A charcoal grill, dining table and multi-use hut with stereo and mini fridge can be used for food prep. With easy access to the Black River and several state parks close by, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, hunting and 4-wheeling couldn’t get much easier. Rent some canoes, kayaks or tubes at Jeff’s Canoe Rental. WIFI is provided as well as a good cell signal (AT&T only) near the cell signal booster in the main living area.
