Your rental is an upstairs studio apartment with kitchenette in what was formerly a 4-bedroom house. The three other bedrooms in this house share full kitchen, living room, and wrap-around wooden porches on the first floor. You may enjoy these common areas if you wish. Many hiking trails right outside your door. Walk down the hill to an 8-acre lake for fishing / canoeing. Nearby organic farm with animals. 2 friendly cats live here.The Space:This studio apartment on the 2nd floor of the house has one queen bed and one full bed; a kitchenette and en-suite full bathroom. The units shares a front door with the three other apartments in the house and a staircase with another apartment. Once inside your private unit there is no need to share space or interact with others. You may use the shared full kitchen, livingroom, dining area, and large outdoor porches on the first floor with other folks in the house if you desire. Optional hot tub outside can be cleaned and chemical treated for your private use.Guest Access:Beside exclusive use of your private studio apartment (private bathroom, kitchenette, sitting/dining area, desk), guests have access to the common areas of the house including full kitchen/living room/dining room table, outside porches, and many walking trails. Guests may use the 1000 gallon stock tanks at the Creekside Pavillion from 10am to 8 pm.The Neighborhood:This lodging is part of the Fork Inn, which lies at the beginning of a pristine creek within a gorgeous valley. All Fork Inn guests may walk around Lake Gratitude, explore miles of hiking trails and creek, and use our stock-tank pools at the farm shelter. Enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing, massage, yoga and more! Nearby Big East Fork Farms downstream provides organic produce.We are located 20 miles from downtown Nashville, 8 miles from historic Franklin (old time Main Street, fancy restaurants, boutique shopping), 7 miles from Leiper's Fork (Distillery tours, Fox & Locke Live Music - don't miss Thursday night's open mic) and light years away from the stress of city life. The Fork Inn is part of a 2000-acre Conservation easement and features a 8-acre lake, miles of creek, and many meadows and hiking trails. There is bicycle and walking access onto the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway within a mile. We are adjacent to the Center for Sustainable Stewardship with has many hiking trails, bicycles, and an organic farm. Meet Rosie the Donkey, Winston the cow, and the piggies !Interaction with Guests:Drake and Abby live in one of the rooms there and are available to assist you.
