The view from the deck and the floor-to-ceiling windows of the mountains and forested valley, river with sparkling waterfalls, and huge sky is magnificent with Mt. Index at one of the valley and Mt. Baring at the other end. Harmony Lodge was designed in 1929 by a renowned architect as a hunting lodge for senators and was used for this purpose until the 1960s, when it was purchased by someone who owned it until the mid 1990s. The current owner is now sharing this preserved facility and land with you. There is large view deck above the river with comfortable chairs, propane BBQ and propane provided, and picnic table. Harmony Lodge is set in a wooded valley, and 50 acres of private land wrap you in privacy and isolation. There is an [2,000 foot] area of the Index creek that also belongs to the cabin, so you have this area for your own use. This is one of the more secluded rental cabins that Washington has, so you get the freedom and seclusion that people who come to enjoy Washington State travel will seek out.”Keywords: Riverfront mountain cabin, Skykomish River
