You're just a stroll from the beach and gorgeous days spent crabbing, clamming, and searching for seashells.This cottage is part of Grayland's Breakwater Inn, a peaceful oceanfront property that seamlessly blends modern comfort with a sense of nostalgia for the coastal vacations of your youth. On the inn's grounds, find grills, crab cookers, picnic tables, and firepits available for your use. Follow the path immediately west to meet a broad stretch of open beach, or head over to Grayland Beach State Park half a mile south. Explore the nearby town of Westport (seven miles), tour the International Mermaid Museum (13 miles), or hop on board a whale-watching or fishing charter.Named for Grayland's rich heritage of cranberry growing (with most local farmers now part of the Ocean Spray cooperative), the 1,334-square-foot Cranberry Cottage is the largest cottage on the grounds. It also boasts the largest kitchen, complete with brand-new appliances and all sorts of pots, pans, and dinnerware.After a day of exploring, come home to curl up by the woodstove in the downstairs living room, gather around the dining room table for a special meal or a board game, or head upstairs to the beautiful second living room to enjoy the smart TV, the selection of kids' toys, and the sunlight streaming in through picture windows. Other home essentials include generous sleeping spaces (including a cozy built-in bunk nook upstairs!) and high-speed WiFi. Enjoy a game of Pickleball on the new court!Things to KnowThe hot tub is available to all guests at the property and is operating on a first come, first serve/available seats basis.This cottage shares a wall with the inn's laundry. Housekeepers work during the daytime hours only when most guests are out enjoying the area.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book.
