Walk to downtown Martindale for a coffee and food at Martindale River Cafe, or pick up grocery supplies (including beer/wine) at the charming Good Things Grocery. Both are located on Main Street.If you are a BBQ enthusiast, don't miss visiting nearby Lockhart, Tx for it's world famous BBQ joints (Smitty's, Blacks and Kreutz's Markets). A little further down the road is Luling, Tx, home of City Market BBQ.Martindale is a small community with ample free parking. Walk to downtown or drive to nearby cities like San Marcos (home of Texas State Univ.) or the BBQ mecca Lockhart for supplies.- Respect our neighbors! -must be 25 years of age to rent - No trespassing into other yards/property.- No music outside after 10pm. No exceptions. Noise complaints will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation. So keep it quiet outside at night. - No loud noise or talking after 10pm. We're on the water. Sound carries. - No parking/driving on the lawn. Park on the driveway only.-No parties or events. - Maximum of 26 ppl. -no pets and if found there will be a $100 charge per day per pet plus damages- Swim at Own Risk- No unsupervised child swimming
