There is a kayak loading area for the sound about a half-mile down the street. Sound's Great is a charming, recently renovated, well-appointed home with an easy, under 2-minute stroll to one of the most convenient public accesses on spectacular Topsail Beach.It’s an ideal spot for biking , kayaking, grilling burgers or seafood, or just relaxing with your favorite beverage on a spacious deck. The house is actually 2 separate dwellings, with a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and two living areas. (Each level has 2 bedrooms, one bath, and a living area.) The kitchen and laundry room are located on the second floor, while the first floor features a convenient mini-kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave. Note: Access to the first floor is via outdoor steps, requiring entry from outside the house.The house is located in Topsail Beach (on the island's south end), a historic and charming town with a missile museum, a 1950s-era putt-putt course, fine dining at the Beach Shop, wine and books at The Quarter Moon, and high-quality gifts at The Gift Basket. You can also catch live music some evenings at Quarter Moon, Beach Shop, or the local municipal park. Surf City, which boasts an endless selection of restaurants and fun-filled activities is only a 10-minute drive away.
