Ready for some quiet and relaxation, just you and nature? We have the place for you! Situated as the last house on a dead end street on the side of Willoughby Mountain, this is the perfect house for a getaway. No cars will ever pass as you sit on the front OR back porch and listen to the sounds of nature all around you. Take a stroll through the many acres of garden and wooded paths all around the property. Enjoy the beautiful night skies without a major city right next to you. Ready for some adventure? The home is located centrally between Charlottsville and Lynchburg. Within an hour, you can be touring Monticello, skiing the mountains at Wintergreen Resort, hiking through George Washington National Forest, or entering Shenandoah National Park. Looking for something a little more laid back? Try visiting one of the many wineries or distilleries Virgina is known for, less than a 30 minute drive away. Whatever YOUR adventure, you can make it happen.At the end of your day, relax on the couch and just take in the views all around you. Eat a homemade meal in the dining room while overlooking the woods and watching the birds. Sit on the front porch and enjoy a peaceful nightcap. It's all possible! Our home has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath with both a shower and a bathtub. Both bedrooms feature queen Sealy mattresses, and have full bedroom sets if you wish to unpack and utilize them. We DO have 5G cell service (at least with AT&T) and free wi-fi. A television is provided with a blu-ray player, movies, and the ability for you to login with various apps to stream content for those rainy days. A full kitchen with quality pots, pans, knives, dishes, etc is available should you wish to eat at home. Both a washer and dryer are available and all linens and towels are provided. Parking for at least 2 vehicles is available, with 3 possible based on vehicle size. NOTE: The driveway is somewhat steep and gravel. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is STRONGLY recommended to safely navigate to the parking area.We have well water. If you do not wish to drink the water, bringing bottles water is recommended. We have 1 security camera that overlooks the driveway/parking area only. No cameras are anywhere else on or in the property.
