The golf and tennis courses are only a mile away.The back of the property is very private with a newly enlarged yard with a lovely stream that runs through it and has a view of the fountain on the golf course. Badminton and Corn hole available. BACKYARD: Watch your kids walk by the stream and view the fountain as they wade in the stream. Sit by the stream and enjoy reading or sipping your wine or beer, from many of the fine wineries and breweries located in Nelson County. Play Corn hole and Badminton.BIKING & KAYAKING Bring your bikes and ride through Stoney Creek, trails for mountain bikes. as well.Wintergreen Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, is only 15 minutes away.I have 2 kayaks for rental, however you must bring transportation for kayaks. Call owner for more details.HIKING: Hike the many trails in Stoney Creek and on Wintergreen Mountain. Hike Crabtree Falls and soak in the many pools on a hot summer day. The kids will love it and so will you. Crabtree Falls is not a long drive and it one of the highest waterfalls on the east coast. Take a picnic and cool off under the cascading waters.The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 15 minutes away and you can also hike Humpback rocks or explore many of the beautiful trails.
