Romantic reform A quiet and cozy Guest Suite on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1869 former post office boasts a serene view, private Piney River frontage and an address that is close to the Nelson 151 trail, Wintergreen Ski Resort, Crabtree Falls, the Appalachian Trail and the George Washington National Forest as well as many breweries, cideries, wineries and distilleries. The perfect place to stay to get away from it all. The perfect place to stay to do it all.Room is on 3rd floor accessed via a private outdoor staircase and entrance. Your private porch and bathroom are located one floor beneath you accessed via the same outdoor staircase. There are no indoor shared common spaces. The queen bed also has a twin trundle that pulls out. We love pets, but please keep them on a leash and be sure to clean up after them. There is a grill and picnic area by the river as well as a fire pit. Hot tub is open October 1-Memorial Day Weekend.
