This 7,087 sq.ft. 3-story French Chateau castle with lake views from every room has large outside pool, 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, inside hot tub, exercise room, wet bar, spectacular game rooms, library, smart TV in the living room and 1 more TV in the game room, and Wi-Fi. Everything in the house is custom made and unique. Linens, bath towels and beach towels provided. Check-in time is 4pm, check-out time is 10am.The Castle is on a quiet cove with very minimal boat traffic allowing you to have an amazing experience and enjoy nature without the constant noise from the boats that zip around in the main part of the lake. Long private drive and staggering views from the entire back of the house overlooking the pool and lake. Private covered boat slip and 4 adult kayaks (singles) and 2 youth kayaks you can use. 800 feet of gravel road through the forest lead to this hidden gem on the lake.Bottom floor:-Large bedroom with queen size bed, pull out couch and and a private bathroom-One small room with twin size bunk beds (sleeps two) with full bathroom next door-Inside hot tub overlooking the lake-Wet bar with full size refrigerator, large TV, pool table, ping pong table, shuffle board, air hockey, dome hockey, foosball, pac man, and chess table-Large libraryMain level:-Huge master bedroom with king size bed, pull out queen size sofa, huge his/hers walk-in closets, double sink, glass shower, and large soaking tub overlooking the lake-Spacious kitchen with open breakfast nook with amazing lake views (two large refrigerators, one with water and ice maker, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, a double oven, utensils, plates, cups, mugs, pots and pans, walk in pantry).-Game closet with board games and some toys-Dining room with high ceilings and a balcony overlooking the pool and the lake, large wooden table with 10 chairs, hutch and a china cabinet-Huge living room with high ceilings, 75" smart TV, DirecTV, blue ray DVD player and WiFi internet-Laundry room with washer, dryer and a sink-Attached 3 car garage and plenty of parking on premisesTop floor:-One large bedroom with queen size bed, walk-in closet, lake view, and a private bathroom-One large bedroom with queen size bed, pull out queen sofa and a private bathroomPool Area:-Large pool - the pool is seasonal and does not have a heater and will close down in the colder months. If you are unsure if the pool will be open during your stay please inquire with us-Above ground firepit-BBQ-Lounge chairs-Two outdoor dining tables with umbrella and 6 seats each-There is an accessible dock, however there is not a boat ramp to load/unload boats into/out of the water at the lake so if you are bringing boats or jet ski's you will need to find a nearby ramp. The nearest location is Scruggs #8 boat ramp, 11mi from the Castle. 1755 Dudley Amos Rd, Moneta, VA 24121. There may be hours of operation and fees associated to park at this location. Also, the electricity company (AEP) will drain water to generate electricity at the dam which may lower the water level. We are not responsible for the water level of the lake.-No additional guests as we must adhere to the county occupancy limits and the house will not accommodate more than the listed maximum guests, so no parties or events allowed.
