Lake Front Family Home Quiet Cove Gentle Slope to Dock & Sandy Beach in PENHOOK Cooper’s Cove: Enjoy your summer vacation on the beautiful clear water of Smith Mountain Lake at this family friendly home in the Water’s Edge Country Club Community of Penhook. The quiet and protected cove with private sandy beach provides hours of relaxing fun for all ages. Two paddle boards, several floating rafts, life jackets and sand toys are provided in the dock house. The main upper level living area has an open floor plan with one guest room. A large sectional and two swivel club chairs are perfect for watching TV with the family. Spacious kitchen with swivel counter stools. Dining room with a large dining table for family meals. The upper level guest suite has a walk in closet, a king size bed and sliding glass doors that lead to the back deck overlooking the lake. The back deck has incredible views of the water, dock and private beach with an outdoor sofa and four club chairs. The lower level has a second family room, a family suite and a primary bedroom. The family suite has two full beds, two extra twin sleeping nooks for kids/teens and a large bathroom. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a newly renovated bath with a zero entry shower floor and a desk. There is a twin bed within the large walk in closet that is great for extra sleeping. The lower level second family room has a double door slider that leads to a fully furnished sunroom providing a quiet retreat for reading and morning coffee. The sunroom opens onto the gentle sloping path to the lake. WI-FI, 2 Smart TV’s, Washer Dryer, Propane Grill25 years minimum age for booking. Pets must be approved on case by case basis. Pet Fee Applies. PLEASE NOTE: No gatherings or parties of any kind. This is a quiet family cove and consideration to neighbors is a high priority. The house is suitable for approx 8 people-9max if there are children. Please read bed and bedroom descriptions. When inquiring for a booking we respectfully ask for a party size and description.
