Spend your days hiking up the mountain trails right in the backyard or exploring the area. In the evening relax on the decks stargazing, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature or catch a sunrise and sunset while staying with us it’s something you won’t regret 😊. The home has been completely updated and modernized for your family’s comfort. The home features 3 Bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with all the essential cooking needs as well as stainless-steel appliances, epoxy countertops, toaster, microwave, full size fridge, coffee maker for single cup or full pot, tea kettle, blender and mini waffle maker. The living room has an electric fireplace, plenty of board games and book options for all ages, a smart TV, vaulted wood ceilings with skylights and sectional couch with large ottoman. Couch is large enough for an extra sleeping area. Curl up on the couch to relax and watch a movie or grab the binoculars and enjoy the views of nature and lake. The first bedroom connects to a full bath with stand-up shower, has a smart TV and Queen size memory foam bed. The master bedroom has a Queen size memory foam bed and full bathroom with tub and shower. The upstairs loft has 1 full sized memory foam bed and one twin size bed, a reading nook, and full bathroom with standup shower. The front deck offers a small sitting area to enjoy the views of nature. There are two back decks - one located off the dining room and the second off the master bedroom. Deer, hawks, bald eagles, many different kinds of birds, and squirrels are some of our nature friends on the property. Please do not leave out food due to animals that live in the forest. Other things to NoteThe only way to access home is by climbing stairs (6 steps to get to only access into home which is front door). The driveway has markers to show a path to get up the driveway. There is parking right in front of steps up to home. This is a family friendly home but be mindful of watching children on decks and walking around in the woods. Both smart TV’s provide access to many streaming channels but you will need to use YOUR OWN ACCOUNT. We do provide bath towels, hand towels, wash rags, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, trash bags, bed linens and pillows, pack n play with sheet, and cleaning supplies in case needed. Things you may want to bring – bug spray, sunscreen, beach towels, fishing poles, and a relaxing mindset 😊 (DO NOT use bath towels if going to lake). Steep Driveway Alert: Important Information for Your StayPlease be aware that our property is accessed via a steep, gravel driveway. While this adds to the charm and seclusion of our mountain retreat, it may not be suitable for all types of vehicles.Important Details:Not Recommended for: Standard cars or low-clearance vehiclesBest For: All wheel drive but vans, trucks, and SUV's that are two wheel drive can get up fine as this is what we drive.We want you to have a safe and enjoyable stay, so if you have any questions or concerns about the driveway, feel free to reach out before your visit.Upon departure pull all used towels and rags in the laundry basket located in the first bedroom closet. There are no cameras on the property to provide you privacy. The front door has a code for easy access which will be provided one day before check-in. First aid kit and fire extinguisher are located on the top shelf in the pantry next to the kitchen. Washer and dryer access is located in basement area which can be accessed from the lower deck. No washing detergent or dryer sheets provided.
