As you enter the front of the home, you are greeted with original 12"+ pine wood plank floors welcoming you to the warm & inviting dining room that flows effortlessly to the living room equipped with a propane fireplace perfect for entertaining.The kitchen is furnished with beamed ceilings, all new stainless steel appliances, natural wood butcher block countertops, thoughtful storage space, and a wood stove. The generously sized downstairs bathroom was carefully designed & includes a soapstone sink & large soaking tub. In the rear of the home is the mudroom/laundry room that brings you to the private bluestone patio in the backyard that allows plenty of space for entertaining.Upstairs, you'll find 4 comfortable sized light-filled bedrooms, and a full bathroom designed with a Porcelanosa Spanish tiled shower. Throughout the home you'll find cedar lined closets and reclaimed wood from the detached 2-story barn.You will find a 43" Samsung "The Frame" flatscreen tv in the living room and a 43" flatscreen tv in the primary bedroom. You can stream Netflix, HULU, HBOMax, and Amazon Prime. There is an optional sound machine in the primary bedroom.The house is located across the street from the Catskill creek that you can hear from anywhere on the property. Oak Hill has several cute shops and a deli that was once an old opera house! There is a local playground with tennis, pickleball, basketball, and a baseball field that is walkable from the house. Zoom Flume water park is a 6 minute drive.Close proximity to restaurants, antique stores, hiking, ski resorts (20 minutes to Windham Mountain and 30 minutes to Hunter Mountain), lakes, creeks, and more. Located 25 minutes from NYS Thruway & Catskill, 30 minutes to Hudson, 40 minutes to Albany and 2 hours and 15 minutes from NYC.There are two gravel driveways on both sides of the property. The entire property is yours to explore, except for the barn (for safety issues).
