Get Away at this Cozy Escape in the Woods! The Log Homestead is nicely tucked back in the woods, sitting on eighty acres of land. From the back deck you can look out and enjoy the abundant wildlife while grilling some dinner. The home is furnished with a cozy living room with windows that look out, as well as a full kitchen that is sure to please. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom upstairs, a full size bed in the guest bedroom downstairs, and one queen size airbed in the loft upstairs. In addition, there is a full bathroom downstairs complete with a Jacuzzi tub and a bathroom upstairs with a shower. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience. the Log Homestead is situated between two beautiful lakes, Six Mile Lake and Bog Lake, both available to the public where you can kayak and swim with the loons. It is only twenty-five minutes from the ocean at Roque's Bluffs State Park and ten minutes from a beautiful scenic trail, the Sunrise Trail. Perfect location to enjoy the Machias Blueberry Feast. We finally got a cell tower near the house, so there is good phone reception now!
