Modern upgrades makes this property a great location for the family reunion or a work-from-home staycation. Great views and a dock with a seating area allows easy access to the 750 acre pristine lake. Shallow entrance and a gradual slope allow for water lounging just off the dock. The water at Maidstone is known for its clarity with 25 feet or better of visibility. Snorkeling is a great family activity and boating and fishing round out the top choices of many visitors. Being away from the hustle and bustle of every day life draws visitors to this wonderful lake every summer. It could be a first visit but usually not the last. Guests have been returning to Maidstone year after year to relive their childhood memories. Come stay with us and begin your own traditions!Cell phone booster on property provides good phone coverage inside the building. Starlink High Speed internet will be active starting June 1st for " Work from Camp" Options or streaming your favorite shows. Groveton is the closet town 30 minutes away with laundry mat, groceries store, convenience stores and breakfast options. Dollar General store is 20 minutes away with most all your shopping needs including basic groceries. VT home town convenience store also 20 mites away and deliveries are made routinely to the head of the lake. Local Pizza available on weekends pick up by car or by boat at the south end of the lake. State park for additional camping is located at the south end of the lake also.
