Located in the heart of Downtown Ouray, just two blocks off of Main Street, this unit provides unbeatable access to everything Ouray has to offer!Our home is a convenient escape allowing you to enjoy the many diverse outdoor activities that the San Juan Mountains have to offer while ensuring you have a peaceful place where your family can relax and renew at the end of an exciting day. Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom - King Bed2rd Bedroom - Queen Bed3rd Bedroom - 2 Twin BedsThis unit has a private deck with a gas grill on the unit's backside, which provides space for enjoying the surrounding mountain landscape in privacy. There is a deck heater that allows for year-long outdoor use and a swamp cooler to keep the home cool during the summer. It also has WiFi, satellite TV, and a small office area upstairs. Mission Rock #1 is one of three units in the enclosed and gated Mission Rock Complex. All three units are arranged around a shady, peaceful courtyard. All three units in the complex (Mission Rock #1, Mission Rock #2, and the Mission Rock Cottage) can be rented together for large gatherings like reunions and weddings or separately as individual units. Mission Rock #1 is an upstairs unit. It contains both private outdoor space and a shared communal courtyard.There is parking along the alley in front of the unit for trucks and trailers, and there is additional off-street parking for other vehicles on the north side of the complex. Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we follow CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc., are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
