The view of the Blue Ridge Mountains over cow pastures from the back deck is quintessential Shenandoah Valley. The house is just a few minutes walk to a brewery, a bakery, an ice cream shop, the Woodstock Cafe, and scores of antique stores-- with award-winning wineries and breweries dotting the valley on both sides of the Shenandoah River.Beckford House's kitchen is fully updated and well apportioned for cooking meals together with local farmers market ingredients, or grilling on the back deck--then relax around the fire pit with some local wine as stars shoot overhead. Take your pick of three bedrooms--ranging from the magnificent master bedroom, to the cozy second bedroom, and finally the pint-sized 'bunk room'--accessed via the Master bedroom--complete with a twin and a full -- perfect for kids of all ages! There is enough space for the whole family or a group of friends to spread out and enjoy--plus the recently renovated bathrooms are on point!Cleverly placed reading nooks are sprinkled throughout the house so you can unplug and relax--or gather around the dining room table to work on some puzzles or play a game. And if you must work, there is high-speed WiFi coverage throughout the house and also on the front porch where you can surf lazily on a rocking chair or porch swing.
