We are located in Brighton, Utah, just 19 miles east of Salt Lake City at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the summertime, Brighton is peaceful and serene, but not lacking adventurous activities! You can cast your fishing line into the nearby Silver Lake, which is constantly filled with trout. Not into fishing? You can leisurely wander around the lake enjoying the beautiful views of nature on the environment-protecting boardwalk. These activities are an easy 5-minute walk from our chalets. For those in search of a more difficult hike, there are four beautiful mountain lakes that constantly draw the attention of the ambitious hiker. The popular Guardsman's Pass mountain biking trails bring spectacular views and perfect terrain. Photographers have a heyday at Brighton because of the many amazing images to capture which include fields of the famous Brighton wildflowers. The views captivate tourists as well, who are making their way to Brighton Chalets. With the abundance of snow located right in our backyard, wintertime activities include skiing and snowboarding at Brighton Resort, cross-country skiing at Solitude's Nordic Center, and snowmobiling over Guardsman's Pass, to mention the more vigorous activities. Everyone, even the seasoned locals, is awestruck by the pristine beauty of Brighton's winter wonderland, the epitome of the “Greatest Snow on Earth.”We feature individual private chalets of all sizes for guests who want something more unique than the usual hotels or condos. Our suites come in all sizes, from luxury bridal suites for honeymooners to Manor Chalets with a open layout, which we built for ski clubs, family reunions, seminars, and meetings of all types. All of our units include fully furnished kitchens, TVs, DVD players, free high-speed Internet, fireplaces, and plenty of jetted tubs! We are located across the street from the Brighton Resort's Milly Express lift.Under the TV in living room, there are 2 baskets that have twin bedding in them. (These are labeled). The throws are just in the basket by the fireplace or on the couch. In the office, the bedding is in a bag by the desk and a throw on the couch. In the Master Bedroom, the throw is on the couch. The bedding is in a bag on the shelf of the free standing closet organizer. In the King Bedroom upstairs, the bedding is in the dresser and the throw is in the dresser too or on the bed.Guest Access:All of our units include fully furnished kitchens, TVs, DVD players, free high-speed Internet, fireplaces, and plenty of jetted tubs! This home is not pet friendly and we do not allow pets. The County will assess $500 fines if you are caught in the canyon with a dog.Interaction with Guests:1.
