Snowmobile trail accessible at Garden Corners. Golf at Garden, Nahma, Stony Point Golf Courses.The unit has a private exterior entrance accessible from State Street or through the main lobby.Parking is onsite. Easy self-check-in. Host is available by phone or text if needed.The space is the former priest's apartment for the Marygrove Retreat Center. The spacious apartment has all the amenities of home yet in a nature retreat setting. 3 bedrooms upstairs: two king bedrooms and one bedroom with 2 twin beds. Both bathrooms are located inside the king bedrooms, so the twin room will need access to one of them, or access the shared bathroom down the hall in the retreat center. The apartment is part of the larger Garden Grove Retreat, a getaway destination in the central Upper Peninsula.You will have access to the full apartment plus almost forty acres of grounds, yours to explore! Please note there may be other guests on-property.A smart TV is located in the living room. Free Roku programming is pre-loaded for your enjoyment. No cable or satellite.You will want to fly into Escanaba (ESC) or Marquette (MQT) airports and rent a car to drive to the Garden Grove Apartment. 50 minutes from ESC, 75 minutes from MQT. Or, an easy drive from anywhere in the U.S.Garden Grove Apartment is just a few minutes from Big Bay de Noc access at the Garden Bay boat launch. Sand beach swimming is nearby - 10 mins to Fayette State Park beach, 10 mins to Tylene's at Garden Corners, 20 mins to Rogers Park in Thompson. Snail Shell Harbor at Fayette Ghost Town is a great place to explore and fish off the dock. You can get chartered boat tours of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore or rent a pontoon boat - 1 hour north. Don't forget Big Springs/Kitch-iti-kipi.
