Quiet, relaxing site on 200 acres in New Hampshire. I built my home on family land that was originally settled by Daniel Upton in 1830. The original farm house exists in its original state (not modernized.) I built my house near the farmhouse in 1990 to resemble the original Upton farmhouse. It is post and beam construction, powered by off-grid solar. The addition (for guests) has two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. I have built 3 miles of trails for exploring the property and its cultural and natural history. For those interested there is also a tent platform (we provide the tent), or the option to stay in the historic Upton farmhouse.
