We have an abundance of windows, vaulted ceilings & natural light.Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is beautifully updated w/ plenty of space for your family. Updated, open concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and gas range. Enjoy the warmth amongst the trees & a soak in the hot tub after a long day. This is the place to relax, soak, cook, dine, and enjoy all that Girdwood has to offer. You could spend hours sitting around the dining room table with your family and friends. Windows galore, gas fire pit outdoors and a wooded back drop! Large Arctic entry with plenty of room for your things! Flex space down stairs with queen fold out and high end laundry center. Once upstairs you will be wowed! Vaulted ceilings, soaring windows, abundance of light. Feel like you are living amongst the trees. We have a gas plumbed Weber grill right off the dining room. Get your grill on! The King bedroom upstairs shares the bathroom with the main living area (upstairs, reverse style home). On the first level is 2 bedrooms, laundry and a bathroom. There is a small flex space by the bedrooms with a fold out couch. Soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking or bike riding on the paved bike path. This home is 2 levels.Our location is prime to the amazing park and skate park for kids. We are a 6 minute walk to restaurants, bars, and our local Merchantile. Have the free shuttle ($1 tip per person) pick you up at the driveway and take you all over town! Our home is located 1 mile from the base of the Alyeska Ski Resort. We are a 6 minute walk from downtown Girdwood where you will find the local grocery store, restaurants, coffee, yoga, and bars. We are 5 minutes from one of the best kid's park and skate park in the state. The free town shuttle drop off is right across the street from our driveway (how convenient!) as well as the large bike path that runs the distance of our town. We have phenomenal art shops, restaurants and out door play areas. We have world class views, skiing, hiking, biking, nordic trails, and FOOD! Alyeska Resort Hotel is a quick 7 minute drive away. Enjoy the tram ride up to see unbelievable inlet views or have a day at the Spa! Girdwood is a small Alaskan mountain town that sits amongst lush forest and is surrounded by the peaks of the Chugach Mountain Range. It is conveniently situated only 36 miles (61km) south of Anchorage, Alaska’s largest metropolis with an international airport. Girdwood is most definitely the place to escape your day-to-day grind and experience the best of Alaska.**Please note there is a MIL with long term tenants. Separate parking and entrance. You have complete privacy with the hot tub. Neighbors have dogs. ***HOUSE RULES / AGREEMENT MADE UPON BOOKING***Absolutely No parties. Zero party policy. We live close by and consider this home to be a place to relax & enjoy the wonders of Girdwood. If you plan to party, please book another home that allows for this. Zero tolerance for partying. Loss of deposit for any noise complaints by neighbors. Strict outdoor quiet hours: 9pm-9am. We live in a community of year round residents. Please treat our neighbors like you would treat your own.Please remove shoes and treat the home with respect.The number of guests you have booked is the number of guests who are allotted to stay in the home or use the hot tub. No more than 3 cars total on the property. There is NO smoking allowed on the property, inside the property or around the doors or porches. This includes vaping and any legal or illegal drugs.We have security cameras on the front portion of the home exterior.
