This can sleep three with a queen size bed and a comfortable twin size rollout. It is also not unsual a few times a day to see horse drawn buggies going past on the road. WE HAVE NOW OPENED OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER CALENDAR DATES FOR THE BEST TIME OF YEAR WHICH IS FESTIVAL TIME AND INDIANA DNR DEER SEASON.. THE 10 DAY PARKE COUNTY COVERED BRIDGE FESTIVAL. THE OTHER ATTRACTION THIS TIME OF YEAR IS IF YOU BOOK YOUR STAY HERE YOU WILL GET HUNTING PERMISSION DURING YOUR STAY ON 260 ACRES (This also includes fishing in two small ponds with Bass and Crappie (one other person has permission to hunt on the property at all times)). Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a place to reconnect with nature, our farmhouse offers the perfect escape. Book your stay today and experience the beauty and tranquility of our country retreat. We are also close for Spring/Summer activities like the Indy 500, Brickyard 400, Indianapolis Indians games. Local events include Parke County Covered Bridge Festival (10 days in October) Clay City Pottery Festival, Bowling Green Old Settlers, Linton 4th of July Festival and Parade, Cory Apple Festival, Spencer Apple Butter Festival, and Cataract Bean Dinner. There are also other attractions including the Terre Haute Casino Resort, local Wineries, Exotic Feline Rescue Center, Shakamak and McCormick's Creek State Parks, Lake Monroe, Cagle Mill Lake (Lieber and Cataract Falls SRA), Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area .
