The Twig in Poetry The Twig is located in Poetry, Texas on 10 wooded acres. The property boasts a 1/4 acre pond, trees, trails, deer, lots of birds, and other regional wildlife. There are 3 blinds for bird/wildlife watching/photography. The guesthouse has a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, bullet, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave. We also provide a small outdoor propane grill and firepit. King size bed. Full bath. Smart TV. Bring a book, sit on the porch and enjoy. The Twig is located within minutes of several wedding venues. Less than an hour from Dallas, McKinney and Canton. The hosts live on the property and can help with whatever you might need. The Twig is the only rental on the property and while not totally secluded, privacy is respected. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults. 21 yoa minimum for all guests. We do require the names of both occupants upon reservation. No children. No pets. No visitors. No smoking/vaping/fireworks on the property. At this time, maximum stay is 5 nights.
