If serenity, comfort, gorgeous scenic views, wildlife, and outdoor adventures sound inviting; we’ve got you covered. Get off the pavement and explore 3.5 miles of dirt road to your mountain getaway! Our road is an adventure in itself, especially if you've never been on a mountain road. You'll want a 4-wheel drive or high clearance vehicle.Activities await you in the big sky country! Many lakes and rivers nearby for fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming or kayaking. We offer secluded private access to mountain trails for biking, hiking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, etc. Close to several ski resorts, golf courses, and the KettleHouse Amphitheater, which is a highly ranked outdoor live music venue on the banks of the Blackfoot River just outside of Missoula. Garnet Ghost Town is a close attraction that our guests enjoy. We provide rental equipment for kayaking (with life jack) and archery- bow and arrows. With Clinton Market as the closest grocery store- (13 miles away) we offer pantry stocking services if you would like your shopping done for you before you come! (Please inquire about these additional services after booking.) We have a fire pit for gathering under the starry sky (available as directed by the Forest Service- some restrictions apply). If fires are not allowed during your stay (or you just don’t feel like building a fire), you can still enjoy the great outdoors around the gas fire pit on the deck.Treat yourself to a relaxing massage or just enjoy the privacy of your mountain getaway.Why not incorporate 2 national parks into your visit? We're Between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks. A great stopping point on your way between them, or a home base to visit both.Experience Montana in a custom built Craftsman style lodge with beautiful custom cabinetry and granite countertops throughout, hardwood floors, and a blue stained pine vaulted ceiling. The great room features a gas fireplace with a solid reclaimed wood mantle, incorporating local barn wood and large windows to highlight the breathtaking views. Catch a glimpse of the eagles and other large birds that soar over the valley from your living room windows.Entirely off grid... but you'd never know it! Due to state of the art technology we're able to offer all the comforts of home:-Elon Musk's Starlink high speed internet delivers speeds well over 100 Mbps! You'll be able to watch movies without buffering, play online, and even work (if you must) as usual.-65" smart TV in the great room/kitchen area and master bedroom. -120" Home theater with AppleTV, Blu-ray player, and Dish network (accessed by all TV's)-Bumper Pool table-Smoker and gas grill for your barbecuing pleasure. -Gas fire pit -Outdoor tables, chairs, and games-Kitchen supplies for cooking delicious meals. -Mini splits in each of the upstairs bedrooms, master bedroom and great room (for temperature control) -Dimmable lights and ceiling fans The open floor plan and immense deck space of this 3,060 sq. ft lodge allows for large gatherings with friends and family. One night under the starlit big sky and you'll be hooked for a lifetime of adventure!!*Please understand that this is a new build. We are still working to complete the finishing touches- trim molding around windows. We hope to have most, if not all of this complete by the time you stay with us. These will be smaller- accommodating 6 people each. They can be booked on their own, or in conjunction with the lodge. If you're interested, please send me a message.*The lodge is located 3.5 miles off the interstate up a mountain winding dirt road. We plow and maintain the road year round. You will need a 4-wheel drive in the winter and a high clearance vehicle in the summer. The road conditions vary and can be muddy, slushy, or slick in the winter and spring due to frequent change in temperatures.
