Perch · Texas Perch Haus with a Twin Sisters View This tiny house Haven is the prefect spot to relax under the Texas sky surrounded by live oaks and wildlife. Deer, Roadrunners, hummingbirds, raccoons, and other wildlife all live here. Located just off highway 281 in the Hill Country where you can spend some time tubing the river, playing at Schlitterbahn, antiquing in Wimberley or the day in Austin or San Antonio which are only about an hour away. We also have 3 other homes on the property to rent.Our tiny home was placed facing north to take advantage of the dark sky for star gazing and the view of the twin sisters. Enjoy the mornings on the porch and the nights watching the sunsets.The house is about 300 sq ft and has a small bedroom with a queen bed, and a tiny loft perfect for kids with 2 double beds (the loft has a 3ft ceiling). The kitchen includes a small stove, microwave and fridge with basic cooking tools. There is a dining table and couch in the living/dining area.The house can sleep up to 6 people for an extra fee after 2 people.We have a VERY steep gravel driveway. Please take note of this-- you will need to have traction to get up the hill (we recommend you drive at least 15 mph and get traction from the road).We are always available to our guests via text for any questions or concerns.Located a few miles from Canyon Lake offering pontoon, boat and watercraft rentals and the Guadalupe river tubing and fishing spots. Just 25 minutes from New Braunfels and Gruene featuring fine dining, quaint shopping, wine tasting, Schlitterbahn Water Park just to name a few.You will need your own vehicle to get around. Some popular destinations from the haus are: * 30 min to Canyon Lake Marina (awesome sunsets) * 28 min to Overlook Park at Canyon Lake Dam (hiking trails & swimming) * 25min to Canyon Lake Gorge * 30 min to Whitewater Amphitheater (outdoor concerts) * 40min to Wimberley, Tx (shopping) * 28min to Gruene Hall (Oldest Dance Hall in Tx) * 30min to Schlitterbahn Water Park"There is another tiny home on the property 75 yards away.Pet fee is $30/day for one. $50/day for two. Max 2 dogs.Pet fee is $100. Max 2 pets.
