The property is also shared with horses.Located only about 3 miles from the historic district of the town of Spruce Pine,NC and an hour from either Asheville, NC, Boone, NC, or Johnson City, TN. We're centrally located between Mt. Mitchell (highest peak east of the Mississippi), Roan Mountain and Grandfather Mountain.In Spruce Pine you'll find groceries, restaurants, arts and crafts, antiques, thrift stores, golfing, gem mining, and medical facilities. Burnsville is another close by town with a charming town square and a live theatre. Both towns are also known for their festivals.
