Sunnyside Cabin on the Doe River Escape to beautiful Roan mountain! A wonderful mountain cabin above Roan Mountain State Park. Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the Doe River and beautiful views with a short drive (7 miles) to the Appalachian Trail and Rhododendron Gardens on top of Roan Mountain. Less than 1 mile from Roan Mountain State Park, tennis courts, hiking trails and amphitheater. Fly Fishing, Native brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout. Fully stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, cookware, oils and spices. The cabin is equipped with excellent WiFi and you may need to be connected to the network with your phone on WiFI calling in order to make and receive calls. We have 1 floodlight security camera to monitor the driveway and front steps and 1 doorbell camera. Dogs allowed, No Cats, on a case by case basis for an additional $20 fee.
