Be sure to check out the neighboring Allegheny Highlands Trail for your morning walk or evening bike ride. Area ski resorts are favorite year-round attractions and are only an hour away. Enjoy all of nature's beauty during your next farmhouse stay!Montrose is a quiet little community on the outskirts of Elkins. Expect a fifteen-minute drive into Elkins for any of your major shopping.The Allegheny Highlands Trail is absolutely beautiful for your walking, jogging, or biking needs. The connector trail will lead you straight into downtown Elkins or into downtown Parsons in neighboring Tucker County.Ski areas Canaan, Timberline, and White Grass are within a one-hour drive, and Snowshoe is one and a half hours.In winter months, expect snowy or icy roads. AWD or 4x4 is recommended.Please note this home does have stairs and bedrooms on all three floors.We provide a starter set of the basics (toilet paper, trash liner, dishwasher pods, hand soaps, and paper towels).
